Hi, anyone bought the ski a la carte card and had it delivered to the UK this season ? Just wondering if they are doing this during during covid as they need to check vaccination status.

@stunshot, they're still doing them, I'm just about to order a new one, as I haven't had one for a few years as we usually buy a season pass.
Vaccination status is not a condition of buying a ski pass, it is a condition of travelling on the lifts.

Thanks, I suppose my question was are they sending them overseas as I thought they needed to see your vac status before letting you buy one, but seems no issue.

Sis bought a new one mid December and it arrived in the post to London within the week. No checks on vax or Covid status when she ordered.
But whilst on the subject, does anyone know how/if you can add Carre Neige insurance to it on the days you ski?

@sbooker, if you're on a longer trip, and visiting several resorts on the card it is worth it. Last winter I ended up just skiing 2 days out of a planned 28  , at least I hadn't wasted my money on season tickets.

I’m thinking we’ll do about 15 on the card. The free days on 9 and 14 will make it worth it. The discounts will be a bonus.
We’ll also do days to other hills not on the card.

@sbooker, the first two weeks were due to the travel restrictions introduced because of the new Omicron Covid variant, then I managed to get appendicitis on my next trip.
