ise, yes well, that's assuming your knees aren't falling apart after years of marathon or mega-mileage running

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Ok well I know I look ten years younger than you, but even so!

Long distance running, seems not to be a healthy option, would you say ise, supports or disproves the theory

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Its all about wear and tear in the knees, everything wears out in the end....!!
ise,
Great shot, snow still looks good and a decent cover from this perspective

I heard the sound of screeching rubber and a split second later a car came sideways out of the next bend spinning before passing in front of me and leaving the road down a snow covered bank at the side

Clearly, this skiing lark is hazardous to health, I read only recently about you hitting your head with one of your own skis, and now the iijits are after you on the roads
Another really atmospheric photo, did I see some patches of ice on some of the other shots?

That's the Vaud for you, if they're not careering into you on skis they're driving like lunatics
I did kick myself in the head with a ski, but funnier still was yesterday seeing someone I knew from a course on the piste, I stopped to say hello, turned to see where Mrs Ise was, over balanced and fell in front of his class
It's a bit icy in places, it's been a while since it snowed, there should be a top up this week. But, conditions are still great, a couple of bare or icy patches but all runs and lifts are open. We don't get the traffic some other places do so the snow lasts longer.

ise, I guess those runs are north facing (?). Just spent the week in Champery and the snow was still surprisingly good in places, despite the foehn winds and then the mild temperatures.

Sharkymark, a mix, mostly just not directly south facing. Hopefully some more snow by next weekend though.
