Poster: A snowHead

Got mine yesterday (cheers admin). Some really fantastic pictures in there. Is the calendar competition going to be an annual feature?

Dave, now I've sorted out how to get them done then 'yes' we should be doing them annually. I'd welcome any comments for improvements, so far we have:
(1) Do it before Jan 1st!
(2) Offer in A3 rather than A4
(3) Bit more info on each photo
(4) More explicit branding of snowheads.com

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The most useful calendar in our house is the one that has plenty of room to write down what the family are doing each day. It has a picture at the top and then a line for each day below it (typically these calendars are long and thin).
I would prefer one like that if possible - any possibilities for the future?

1) Yes please!
2) Prefer A4 size
3) Agree - useful to have location of photo
4) Think the logo is just about right on this one - any more and it would dominate the page too much.
Thank you!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Yes please. Agree with Cathy Coins on Location, but maybe also get the submitters to add any blurbs about where and what they were doing etc. seeing as some of them clearly have the subjects ski touring etc. All that is exceptionally interesting.

Just thought I'd better mention this as there are quite a few people who expressed interest in calendars who haven't bought one yet. I'll be away next week so if you were "just getting around to it", tomorrow (Fri) would be a good time to take the plunge as I can get them sent out before I go. There are still 14 calendars left - so if anyone is still interested in seeing nice pictures of snow throughout the year then you still have a chance.

Ian Hopkinson, I'll wait for one of your "explicit" versions next year

We've moved "last year's" pics into a sub-category of the snowMedia zone and opened a new one for this year's entries. Get snapping folks

I think they should have kittens on them - especially for us Londoners.

Ahem, it seems that all previous posters to "Champagne" will receive an automatic email notification of the "category change" . You learn something new every day......

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

You know it makes sense.

Ian Hopkinson, If the calendars are ready early enough next year, I would be inclined to order more than one, as they'd make excellent xmas presents. I would also be happy to pay upfront, if this would help to avoid you being left with surplus stocks.
