Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Crystal childcare

Looking to book pepi penguin for 4 year old.

Went with espirit and could not fault their childcare BUT it's 1k more to go with espirit than crystal.

It's not like for like holiday.

But comparable.

My question is, do the crystal staff stay with your child whilst having lesson?

Espirit were amazing with kids and were with them to help with gloves, snotty noses etc while on lessons.

Cheers xxx

We've used Crystal's childcare twice with all four of our children.

With the older ones (6+) who are more experienced, they tend to just let them get on with it. With the younger, or very inexperienced/nervous ones, they will spend time in the first lesson with them, and in some cases hang around and watch if needs be. It's probably not the same level as Esprit offer, but they're not exactly abandoned either - it's just their time is spent with those children that need it the most.

Which resort are you planning on? We had great childcare experiences at Plagne 1800 and Tignes, although I'm quite sure (management aside) that the individuals probably change year to year!

@heidi1, Jnr is 15 now so we've not used Crystal childcare for some years! But I don't think they ever hung around during lessons. They would take the children for their lesson then pick them back up at the end. Jnr first went with them when he was about 6 last time was about 18 months later.

Thanks for reply.

We are looking at claviare in Italy.

Went to la plagne a few weeks ago.

Could not fault esprit childcare but resort was just soooooo busy!

Trying to avoid France as I think it gets far more holiday makers than lesser known resorts.
