Recomendations please.
I am looking to rent a chalet for a week in February next year 2018.
Self catering but catered would be an option.
It would be 2 families of 4 (total 8 people)
Resorts in FRANCE, ITALY AND AUSTRIA.
I am looking for reasonable prices nothing silly.

I have been all over the alps but stayed in hotels ..going with the family this time so looking for a cheaper option.
Most chalets are luxurious i am looking for something just nice and comfortable.
would consider half term and either week next to half term.

...and are you looking for a package or DIY? Good choices on sites like Owners Direct with the latter.
Of the 'big group' holidays i've been on I liked Val d'Isere, Serre Chevalier and La Plagne. I wasn't so keen on Avoriaz. That's based purely on the Skiing. I've never been to Austria so am of no help there. Next trip is Sauze D'oulx which i am excited about!

We haven't stayed there in a while but chalet Symphony in Morzine was good for our group.
Location a little out of centre so costs reasonable, balanced with good delivery and collection to/from slopes and town for evening.

Treeline chalets (catered and self catered) in Morzine are very good value. We enjoyed our holiday with them. Catered food was very good and they regularly seem to be contenders in ski and snowboard awards.
