Just a heads up that may be a concern to a few
Inghams not doing Scotland to Salzburg next winter
They have been using Jet 2 flights this year
I am assuming this Jet 2 are still doing the route next winter
I've got a plan B anyway

Haven't used them for years anyway. SZG flight time was fine. INN was atrocious, almost literally a 6 day holiday.

Thats what I was referring to, anyone in the Arlberg or Ischgl, Obergurgl etc would be leaving their hotel about 4 in the morning. The last day would be totally overshadowed by the departure.

There were people on 4am transfers from our chalet last weekend. It didn't seem to have spoiled their Friday skiing. (Their flights also got out of innsbruck with little delay, unlike some later flights like ours that were waiting for incoming flights to land).

I did a 4am transfer last Christmas. One passenger decided that rather than sleep he would carry on drinking tell departure. He was the most obnoxious drunk I have ever seen how the reps put up with him was a miracle of restraint. He was a great lesson for my kids to show the bad side of alcohol.... While at the mid point stop he sat on his own drinking a pint a very sorry sight

@boabski, Yes they do this winter but are not doing the Edinburgh Salzburg next
Crystal are from Glasgow
It looks like Jet 2 are still doing the flight
We are far enough south that Manchester or Leeds/Bradford are ok if needed
We could also DIY but I've seldom managed to get that to work out cheaper
