Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Which bindings do you recommend for me????

So i bought a pair of new 2006 Salomon Optima boots. I'm a petite girl, about 5'0, maybe pushing 100 lbs. and mostly do freeriding, occassional spending an hour or so in the park. I'm an advanced skill level rider.

I'm wondering what bindings will best fit my riding style and my new boots.
Right now I'm between the following three:
-K2 Cinch (hybrid)
-Flow Amp 5
-Ride Dva

Whats important to me is durability, light weight, snug fit to boot, and ease of use.

Anyone have any input on these choices? Pros, cons, horror stories?

Thanks and happy riding!

You definitely want to demo flows before buying them. Some love them, some do not (I didn't get on with flows when I tried them). As for K2 cinches, they're no faster than Salomon bindings, and are worse bindings in my opinion, so if you want fast straps I'd personally go for Solomon bindings over Cinches every time. Ride generally make excellent bindings, I doubt you'd go wrong with the Dva.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I don't have vast knowledge on this at all, but I just bought Burton Missions because they do them in a small which I fit into being a UK 5 which is really the largest size for the small binding - if you are a 3 or 4 then you'll be a good size for them - they have the capped toe strap & nice wide padded boot straps. I get on really well with them.
Oh I have the new salomon ivy boots with them... also fine as they are a nice slim boot.

Good luck Very Happy

Manufacturers tend to make their boots fit the dindings, so I'd check out Salomon ones.. That said, the Ride DVA is a SICK binding.
