Poster: A snowHead

Hi All,
Got some ABS bags that DHL picked up and refused to take any further - they're stuck in Leeds - got a friend collecting them but need to get them shipped to France as live here full time. Anyone knows a courier that will take them at all?
Or driving out...? for beer tokens...

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

You can't air freight the cylinders unless they're empty.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I don't necessarily want to air frieght them - they can be driven.

Ipost will ship them, as used by Snowsafe.

You'll need to set up an account online before arranging collection or dropping-off anything at a depot. But as Jon mentions, sending to France could be a problem - be best to enquire first.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I just received a full ABS cylinder from Germany to UK by DHL air and then UK Parcelforce to my door.

@loopylu4848, The transport of hazardous goods is all about the knowledge of what you are carrying. After sending empty ABS cylinders back for refill successfully via normal post a number of times, the inevitable happened and Royal Mail almost destroyed one.
When the empty cylinder hadn't arrived, I chased Royal Mail and they said it had been sent to their hazardous goods centre. Explaining that it was empty and as much of a hazard as an empty plastic water bottle didn't make any difference. They eventually sent it back and I used UK Mail.
I've the same issue with Lithium batteries, with allegedly all sorts of restrictions, which are then sent via air transport.
I've now switched to electric fan avalanche packs to avoid all the refill/flying hassle.

With abs cylinders surely it makes sense to just a used for a new one in resort rather than posting them around?
