Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Xlander 80 or Rossingol Pursuit 400 Carbon

I bought the xlander 80 from decathlon as it was the last pair in the shop and discounted at the start of the season.

I've now seen that they have discounted the Pursuit 400 ski.

I have reserved a pair to collect at the weekend on the assumption that it will probably be a better ski for my needs.
I'm after something I can cruise around the piste on. Typically Zillertal accompanying a school ski trip. I like to ski fast but this can sometimes make me a bit lazy in my technique.

I already own a pair of storm rage fs skis. But they are not the best for working on my technique.

Would I be right in thinking that going for the rossingol ski is a better bet?
