David Murdoch, these tracks were made at 3pm in the Canyons, 4 days after the last snow fall. Oh, and there's a major storm blowing in from Wednesday of this week, should guarantee you a good time.
Where are you going?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Wear The Fox Hat, Excellent!!!
We are based SLC 25th, 26th, 27th Feb and then Park City 28th-3rd March. We have one day's "Interconnect" "guiding" which may or may not be good. Depends on many factors.
Basically two of the party bought Ski Utah packages incl. some accom, passes, guiding, etc. at charity auctions. So we have some constraints on where/what we do, but not many. SLC probably sees us doing most "exploration" although I'm familiar with the Park City-Alta drive so that's no problem.
Any suggestions?? All advice gratefully received...

David Murdoch, the new Collins chair at Alta makes for a quick trip to the top, replacing the old 2-man Collins & the Germania quad. They've also replaced the Watson Hut with a bigger cafeteria/restaurant.
If you haven't been to the Canyons, I'd recommend a trip there - had 3 good days there.
Solitude was empty, which was excellent.
Bad news on the Park City front - the Bonanza Chair was out of action last week... http://www.sltrib.com/utah/ci_3475054
Not sure if it is fixed yet - last I heard was they were flying a part in to get it repaired.

Wear The Fox Hat, Thanks. I think we'll try and ski as many areas as we can although I fell deeply and irreversibly in love with Alta on a sunny afternoon 2 years ago so I am really really looking forward to going back.
We like empty!
Any drinking/dining thoughts?

David Murdoch, nice sushi bar, lounge, and restaurant at the top of the Cliff Lodge in Snowbird. That'll need to be my contribution, since we didn't venture out of the Snowbird village (and I use the term loosely!) for food while we were there.
