Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Going to be in Whistler for Martin Luther King weekend, anyone any experience of it? Guessing lift queues short for first tracks? Seems like North American yoof to be expected by the coachload Toofy Grin

Dunno, don't know their calendar. The US dollar is strong versus CDN right now so lots of US people about. more than usual. I'd say Whistler is the same as always though. "First Tracks" is thousands of people and mediocre food. I guess you need to do it once but it's not like the first tram at Snowbird or anything like that. It happens, but it's all a bit of a zoo.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

MLK holiday is this up coming weekend. January 16th is the actual date. Lots of Americanos will be heading North of the border come Friday. Judging by a quick search of lodging options, and there being almost none unless you want to drop $3,000USD per night for the Four Seasons!!! Then you are not looking at much available. So, in short, it will be very crowded at Whistler this week with American accents aplenty. Lots of beer will be consumed, and judging by the forecast, lots of powder will be shredded.

Me, I am going farther East to the Valley of the Sun to ski some cold smoke Sawtooth powder, and most likely much less crowded. Cool
