Apparently, I'd forgotten I'd it previously, so many apologies..! The answer was Les Agudes, in the Pyrenees (now known as Peyragudes, since its merger with Peyresourde Balestas). Went there every fora fortnight Easter during the 70s, as part of the Bristol / Bordeaux exchange. Happy days!
