@albob, actually I wasn't even born in the 1980s... but I recognised the Tignes logo on the side of the gondola  Interesting photo though.

Can I ask where this went from in Lavechet and to in Le Lac? I can visualize the buildings as there near the top of the Lavechet drag I was yo-yoing last Friday but can't visualize where it went to in Le Lac, it precedes my first visit in 1995!

@stevew, "Can I ask where this went from in Lavechet and to in Le Lac?" -- sorry, but I can't really remember ; seem to think it started somewhere near the Club Toviere and clueless as to where it ended in Lac. I suspect the Lac area may have been built on . I have an old ski map from 1991 and this lift does not appear on that.
There maybe a Tignes expert somewhere who knows?

It is possible this is simply a montage. I think that with the angle there's nothing this lift would climb towards - except above the lake...
|

@patrick!, Montage, no - ive been on it! :: checking google earth, the start 'line' it still visible ; but the end point isn't, which is why is suspect it has been built on
