That whole valley leading up to les diablerets has some great rock formations and good areas for climbing

Indeed, climbing rather than skiing that took me there... also some pretty cool via ferrata for those less inclined to uncomfortable rubber shoes. Will put one up shortly

It is Laax! first photo from skiroute 84, second from top rotunda. No it's not very close, although from Andermatt just over the pass the river Rhine starts and runs throught the valley below Laax. Its only just over an hour away. Over to @DanishRider!

ill have another go if @DanishRider doesn't mind... i took this one while tree skiing and if i'd have to guess i'd say most have not been to this resort, nor this country... to narrow it down - it is in Europe...
