The three peaks on the skyline are the distinctive Aguilles d'Arves. Just behind the ridge to the left is Les Karellis (a little gem of a resort) and, just this side, in the bowl, is Albiez-Montrond - an absolute tiny gem.

Spot on. Taken from my bedroom window when we stayed here www.tanadellavolpe.it It’s a converted cable car station at 2600m. Access via skimobiles!
