Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

If you're going through a tour operator you're best off getting lift passes through them. They'll more than likely be exactly the same price as you'll pay anywhere else (discounts are rare in the main resorts unless you've got some big numbers). Resorts tend to do family ski passes, 2 adults 2 children minimum. The benefit of that is that the tour operator will give you the lift passes when you arrive, saves faffing about.

As for lessons, that's worth shopping about online and seeing which companies operate where you're going, and the the range of offers they have. A simple google search of <resort> ski school will do the trick. Most resorts have more than one company who sometimes offer different things so it's worth finding their websites and checking them all out.

A friend of mine has used http://www.Soldeu.com for some bookings not sure how much they saved. You can book private lessons direct with the ski school via https://www.grandvalira.com/en/ski-mountain-academy

I used that Soldeu.com site the last 3 years at El Tarter, fine for me. I didn't really look around though. At El Tarter it was great, the hire shop was 20m from the lift, and had lockers underneath so no need to carry skis back to the apartment.

Standard Andorra warning - it's not in EU so be very careful with (switch off) your roaming!
