Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi all,
I'm going on my first ski trip in February, to Cervinia, and have been told by my more experienced friends to pick up some cheap goggles.
I've noticed Bolle have decent reviews and look alright. Does anyone have experience using them, and if so, which lenses are best to get?
Cheers

Hi and welcome.
I like their Photochromic Modulator lenses, especially the Modulator Light Control, which is the more expensive one (VLT 15-45).
The only Goggle I'm familiar with is their Gravity model, which has quite a narrow opening for the nose and can constrict air intake....so it is worth trying them for size before purchase.

I love my Bolle Gravity Modulator Vermillion Blue lens goggles - I seem to collect them so I should always have a pair in case Bolle stop making them. The modulator lens changes according to the conditions so I don't need to change lenses. If it is sunny then the Oakley Valentinos come to to play.
As above, try before you buy if you can, although most places are good with returns.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I've got some Bolle Modulator Light Control, in the Nova 2 Frame and another matching pair with yellow lenses. Originally ordered them in the Emperor frame however I prefer the oldskool look of the Nova's rather than jet pilot oversize jobs. . .Pick a frame to match your helmet . . .the light control are great in the majority of conditions . . .
