Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Sunday flights - where to go

 Poster: A snowHead

So, due to hubby's work commitments we are limited to flying out for our trip on Sunday 5th Feb. We are finding our choices within budget are either Andorra - Grandvalira, La Thuile, Courmayeur - Aosta Valley. Or do we blow the budget and book Cervinia which is more spenny. Also Sestriere and Milky way were an option but we've done that to death over the last few years. Any advice - suggestions. Just want to make sure we have some decent snow to ski on.

@Mandal, Of those we've been to Cervinia and Grandvalira. Cervinia is excellent, but as you say more expensive to book with a tour operator. Grandvalira was very good too though. Good piste skiing, cruisy blue/red mainly not a huge amount of steep stuff.

Have you looked to see what you might be able to do DIY?

If you like a big ski area Cervinia with a few days over in Zermatt is good, been there several times.

Or something different Are as@Themasterpiece, said. We went there last year; would go back.

Heard good things about La Thuile too but haven't made it there yet.

EasyJet to Geneva is less than £90 return
Cheap chalet (try chalet La Bas in Bourg and say Rick recommended you) should be around the £350 mark for a week. Got access to lots of ski resorts. Worth a try and I know they have availability that week

Thanks for the input, still looking at the moment. Hadn't considered DIY - a bit lazy, but will make the effort and have a look.
