Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Whistler transfer to Vancouver airport

We have family taking us to whistler but need transport from whistler to Vancouver airport. Any tips on the most reliable way to do this with a coach company. Flight is 9 pm from Vancouver so need to be there 5:30ish

I used the Whistler Shuttle from the previous link, great service. Fortunate to be driven up there by my Lad and then used the shuttle on the return.

There's also the greyhound but that probably goes to the greyhound terminal (it's been a while since I used it) so you maybe have to transfer (Skytrain) to get to the airport. The tourist office there will tell you the best way if you're there.

Thanks all, have booked through ridebooker and they will collect us from the hotel. Have 9 days skiing starting Sunday 8th Jan. And keeping my eyes on the forecast and cams.

@MogulMonkey, I used Ridebooker for every trip I took to Whister, both out and back. They are highly organised and I never came close to having an issue. On one occasion I effectively had a private transfer as no one else was booked. Ridebooker will also swap you to a later transfer, if for any reason you miss your planned one.

@Dabber, l am sure we are in for a great time but temps are cold!! -23C at the top but I assume this is also closed due to wind speed.

40kmh isn't particularly fast, but it will make the cold even worse with significant windchill.
Winds were very gustly from the North at the weekend and the peak didn't open neither did Harmony, it was only -18C then! Shocked Think the coffee line-up was probably the biggest of the day.
