Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just back from two days in Val T and a day at Tignes.

Had an absolutely brilliant time, with conditions far better than we'd anticipated - mainly well groomed/packed powder, with only the odd slick bit. Despite the snowline being around 2000m, we enjoyed some fun skiing down to around 1700/1800m in the 3 Vallees - they've done wonders with the snow cannons and man made stuff. And conditions were actually very good above 2000m. Runs were mainly very quiet and we had wall to wall sun too. Will admit, however, that it was a bit shocking to see virtually no natural snow in most places below 2000m....

We also had a nice meal/night out at La Ferme in Tignes La Lavachet to celebrate birthdays of two of our party - lovely place and highly recommended.

Here are a few pics:

Great pics! Thanks for posting.

We are heading to Meribel today for a week, after getting a last minute deal from The Chalet Company for a bargain £189 pp in the centre of Meribel. Not to be sniffed at! Very Happy

We will enjoy whatever the weather (& food) gods throw at us! wink
