Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Any recommendations for annual trip insurance that will cover me for offpiste and if I don't wear a helmet as I'm getting the run around from Insure and go at the moment.

Ski Club of GB insurance covers both

TBH I would't trust any non specialist insurance for off-piste and like ski club insurance says you shouldn't expose yourself to unnecessary risk, what insure would?
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Dave Horsley
, I use the BMC,
https://www.thebmc.co.uk/modules/insurance/,
which I am glad to hear are sticking to that name. Of course they do not care whether or not you wear a helmet. It makes no actuarial difference.
Being the British Mountaineering Council, their insurance also covers you for the things you would want to do in the summer as well.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

The question you should ask, is what are you covered for off piste. Then ask yourself if you really need insurance for that. Is someone going to ask whether you are insured before they dig you out of an avalanche? If you break a leg, or your neck, are they going to ask you for your insurance before the helicopter takes you to emergency treatment?
What you are insuring against, is the small chance of a very large expense. We all take such risks every day, walking down the street.
Wear a helmet, and follow
the rules
of the insurers who cover you to go off piste. Don't be such a .....!¬
