Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

JS insurance - any good?

These guys seem to be coming in cheap for the season at £102, think they cover off piste too but need to check with them.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them at all? Looks like they're underwtitten by 'White Horse Insurance' whose logo is a rather regal looking horse which makes me think they must be sound.

I've been looking at Annual cover for 2 people and found Harrison-Beaumont, they allow multiple trips, each up to 60 days and covers off-piste (not alone or not against local advice, on the telephone they agreed that "not alone" means in view of other people) at £94.61, but they don't cover any pre-existing medical conditions. So I've gone for them as MPI was next in my price list at about £290.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Interesting. Is that £94 per person? I've just got a single trip quote for two which is coming in at £338, much more expensive than MPI.

Do you mind me asking what your specifics where?

Sorry just realised yours is for annual trips which makes it more expensive than a single trip. MPI work out much cheaper for me and JS insurance even cheaper still.

So if anyone has any experience with JS would be interested to hear.

Cheers

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Just to clarify hbinsurance.co.uk is £94.61 is for 2 people, Annual European multi-trip Travel Insurance, includes Winter Sports (off-piste skiing also), multi-trips with no trip being over 60 days.

That's a great price. Unfortunately/fortunately will be there longer than 60 days so no good for me on this occasion.

Cheers
