Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Recommend a ski school in Morzine please

Hi

I will be going to Morzine in February and staying right near the “Passerelle” footbridge. This will be my 5th week skiing (going once a year). I am an intermeidiot who can get down Black, but could do with working on technique, and struggle on ice, powder and will run away from moguls 

I will do a private lesson that I will share with my wife (who is a much better skier). Last year we went to Meribel and had lessons with Marmalade Ski School who were excellent.

One the basis of my experience I would be really grateful for advice on who to have a private lesson with.

Thanks,
R

Really really recommend Bass Ski School Morzine. Used them for the past two years for private lessons and have been excellent both times. Ask for George as he was our instructor and was great with our party.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Seconded for BASS. Not sure what their privates are like (wink ) but I had a group lesson with them in January and was very impressed with the quality of tuition. Instructors really friendly! I think I had George as well.

I've used EFS in Morzine for a private lesson and was very happy. Their office is just along from the bottom of the Plenny gondola so easy to pop in.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

All Mountain Snowsports..based in Morzine. Ask for James Crompton. You will not find a better instructor or nicer guy.

BASS and James Crompton are good recommendations. You could also look at The Snow Institute.

Easy2Ride (ESI). Great English Speaking instructors. Good value. Our instructor Flo was amazing for my ladies trip as well as when we went as a family teaching my 3 year old to plough, turn and stop in 5 hours (an hour each day).
