Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We're looking at a week here in January. Does anyone have any experience of this accommodation?
The reviews seem ok, says its small but we have booked the studio that can sleep 6, we are a family of 4 so hopefully this will be ok.
It says it is close to the Diable lift, what do they mean by close? We have a 10 and a 7 year old, don't fancy a long walk with them!
The red run back to that end of the village, is it a tough run? Our kids are of a good level but I certainly wouldn't want them on anything like Valentin for example.
Its been a good few years since I've been to this resort, I'm disappointed to hear the cretes magic carpet hasn't been successful, I was hoping to start the kids on the petit cretes on our first day.
I don't remember the diable end of the resort at all, is it far to walk to the jandri express or pool?

Thank you in advance!

The blue back to resort is at the Diable end, I think. Looks like a blouge, but if you've been to LDA before, you'll have experienced that before. Cretes itself is a nice blue - little steeper at the top, IIRC. Signal blue is lovely.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

L'ours Blanc is a pretty new building very close to the Diable lift, 150m or so Smile The red run down isn't easy but the blue branches off to the Diable end too. Not the easiest blue in the world though.

From the top of thé Diable lift it is possible to ski down the Crète using greens all the way. Tbh the magic carpet is too short to be very useful.

Walk to pool and Jandri is 5 mins in normal shoes obviously longer in ski boots. Diable is a much better lift in the morning though, far less busy.

Stayed here the year before last. Literally out the door of the boot room across a road and you're pretty much at the lift. Reception wasn't very organised with a lot of groups sitting around waiting to be allocated a room. Wandered to a bar in the end and waited for the call which came at about 5pm. Apartment decent size (we sized up like you) and pool was decent. Overall decent place and would stay again especially at the price we paid.
