Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Is binding orientation on symmetrical skis irrelevant?

Hello!

I bought some new k2 domains on the internet this week and they've just arrived. I noticed something looked off about the appearance of the skis, then I realized that it's just that they mounted the bindings in the opposite direction than the pictures online.

I assume that this is not a problem, since the k2 domains are symmetrical, but I thought I'd ask some people who know more than I do about this stuff Smile

So, what do you say? Is the orientation of the bindings interchangeable on symmetrical skis?

Depends have they been absolutely centre mounted?

Don't know many absolutely symmetrical skis. Are you a park rat?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Yeah, they're centre mounted.

k2's site says "the Domain is K2’s only fully symmetrical ski" (http://en-us.k2skis.com/skis/mens/domain). Mine is the 2016 version, not 2017, but I believe it probably is too.

I'm only getting started in the park now, but they are park skis Smile

Probably ok unless the tip and tail rocker is different. Check them against each other.
