Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Shared transfer Salzburg to Saalbach 4 March

2 of us are on the jet 2 flight from Edinburgh on 4 March arriving Salzburg around 1805 and therefore just missing the ski shuttle. Anyone want to share a transfer to Saalbach?

@kb36, I was about to respond that we have a couple of guests arriving on that date from Scotland - and then put two and two together! I see that the next shuttle departure will be at 20.15. Vorderegger's Airport Express is no better - their shuttle bus leaves at 18.00, and the next is at 22.00. We do also have some people arriving from Ireland on that date, so I've messaged them to ask which airport and what time they're landing.

@kb36, if you are unsuccessful finding someone to share, I have used this taxi company below for the last two years. I always have same problem as my early morning flight from Gatwick arrives 10 mins after the shuttle leaves. It has been a taxi rather than the mini buses that are so common, so if you are carrying skis ( I don't) you would need to check that out with them. Paid €135 one way trip last January, clearly more expensive than the €44 per person shuttle, but the cheapest private transfer to Saalbach I have found over the last few years.

Thanks all, if we have to wait for the next shuttle then so be it but thought I would put it out there anyway. Richard your maths are exemplary.

@kb36, The other guests have responded, and it turns out that they're flying to Munich and arriving at 3pm. Never mind, we'll have the kettle on for about 9.30pm.

No worries, never know might be more folk on our flight looking to share. The same flight will be the one crystal will use so might be able to blag on to their transfer nearer the time. Oh and what do you mean kettle?

@kb36, The problem with leaving it to see if anyone else wants to share a taxi, or trying a blag a lift, is that the Holiday Shuttle has to be pre-booked and pre-paid. Point taken about the kettle - your ETA is perfect timing for the apres-apres-ski. wink
