Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

SOPiB2017 any snowboarders attending?

I've attended the SnowHeads off piste bash for the last three years, out of the thirty or so who are there, there have never been any more than four of us boarders. I was wondering why there haven't been more boarders and if anyone else is interested in coming along? It is an excellent week for those who enjoy fresh tracks in knee deep powder. What's not to like?

I would be very interested in future years. I normally snowboard with my girlfriend and another couple. The girls both ski and aren't quite up to off piste level yet and so it becomes difficult justifying spending more than a couple of days without them.
I did a "half-time" off piste week in Serre Chevalier last winter with the UCPA and that worked out perfect, big money though this year....

I'm another one looking at this for the future, once I bootstrap my level up a bit! Very Happy

For the moment I'm sticking to the odd venture "side-piste", though an snowheads bash off-piste day may be the next step on the ladder.

@robin_mxx, if you're back on the EoSB this year, maybe go out on one of the guided off-piste days and get a taste?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

When you factor in that the boarders need to be good enough to go into the guided groups, that means they are only eligible for around half the spaces. Even at full capacity, that's 4/18 or more than 20%, which is a higher proportion than on most bashes.
