Poster: A snowHead

Despite a great start to the winter, turnover-wise, the staff at our shop are given to warn each customer to the dangers of skiing off-piste without being properly equipped and trained. It is however amazing how many clients ingnore our advice, don't buy saftey equipment(unneccaserry cost) and fly off into the backcountry having just bought there new 'Fat Skis'. At the risk of sounding commercialist and as a fan/user of wider skis please consider carefully the cost and consiquences of i-llpreparation. On this forum around 60/70% of posts relate to Backcountry or Off-piste and very few to training and awareness of the terrain. I will be asking the manufaturers to heed this information and quiz them as to their responibilities as the makers of fat skis.
Should all skis over 80mm come with some form of referance to equipment and training for the end user?

Apart from model ones, no. But there are several skis with WAISTS less than 80mm.

Sorry, but "Benson and Hedges"??! B&H as in the Gallaher Group tobacco company whose products cause death in a vast proportion of it's customer base?? (or those, at least, who are not busy littering ski slopes with the butt ends of their product). Shurely not!
Oh. See what you mean.

SMALLZOOKEEPER, no different to what snowboards did... thickos & urbo'tards getting gear that allows them to put themselves, and us, in potential danger. If it wasn't fat skis it would be something else.
Have a look at the warnings on a Barryvox box.
Warning objects in mirror may be closer than expected.
Contents is hot.
I don't mind it being there as long as it doesn't stop me having the right to scold my nuts.

If they've misbehaved, you scold them, mate. Nuts today, no idea how to behave, no when I was a lad ... (and so on).

Leave it to Darwin I reckon...or "Intelligent Design".
Actually, is death by stupidity a triumph of Unintelligent Design over "God" or otherwise?
