Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Gidday All,

I'm toying with the idea of replacing my Scott P3s. They've been great but I'm after a new twintip thats on the stiffer side.
I've narrowed it down to two.

1 Kingswood midfat
2 Movement thunder.

I know theres prob no one here thats had any experience with kingswood skis but was hoping somone might have used the thunders and could let me know what they think of them.

kiwi1,

Don't know if the Stockli snake is stiffer than the skis you mention but you will find it is Switzerland.
How about the Aztec pro....?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks for that. I thought about the aztec pro but am moving towards the Kingswood midfat. Their skis are hand made so you can ask them for a softer or stffer flex.

kiwi1, those Kingswoods look very nice. There's some good info on www.tetongravity.com/forums if you do a search

Arno, Saw that forum. Seems strange that their midfat is 104mm and the ski they call there skinny ski is 86mm underfoot but they do look like they are good and it could be the way skis are going in the future.
I've e-mailed them and they are very good at responding and have offered a discount as they want to get the name out there but I'd really like to bring a couple of pairs in to keep shipping costs down as they don't have a UK disti yet. Either that or put up with my P3s until I go back home to NZ next year for a holiday and bring a pair back.
