Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Snowboard Lessons in St Anton

Hi Guys,

im going on holiday with 4 of my friends in two weeks to St Anton, CANT WAIT!
anyway, me and another guy can snowboard fairly well, and we are going to try and teach the other three ourselves, but want to book two lessons for them on the Monday or Tuesday. We dont want to use the St Anton Ski School as i think they only do week long lesson blocks. Does anyone know of any shops that will do just maybe one or two lessons in the morning, and what the names of these places are??

Can i also get some feedback from you guys - Helmets and snowboarding, i have just got myself one.. anyone think this is a good idea? who else here wears one??

No answer on the lessons front...

But yes I have a helmet... Will be my 2nd week boarding later in March and although I'm not going at speed there were a few times when wiping out I hit my head and would have liked the protection. Also think it will be useful in future when going in rocky/tree areas...
