Just a quick heads up on Rivington Alpine. Called round yesterday as I was passing. The old premises are closed up and they are refitting a new place close by. (A6/Market St, Adlington)
Checked the website for info. They're due to reopen on the 15th of October. Contact details remain the same.
Thought I'd mention this as they regularly get mentioned and recommended on here for boot fitting etc. (my boots were bought & fitted here).

Please do, better from the 22nd of this month as the dust might have settled then. Plenty of parking, especially at weekends and a brew or jagermeister for your trouble.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

@Dabber, They need to get the signage removed from the old premises. Can be a bit confusing with the old and new premises so close together.
