Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi guys, I've written a series of blogs about the skiing around the Dolomites. I hope they are of some use to you guys. Have tried to give some guidance on the best runs and how to link some of it together. Hoping to expand the series over the season with some about the Sellaronda and the Giro della Guerra. Let me know if you need any more information and I can improve them!
Cheers,
Mike

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Glad you like it. Just added Sellaronda Orange and Green is preparation. I guess I'll get around to the Hexentour next week sometime and also the Giro... but my eyes are going square writing blogs! Been catching up doing lots of rock climbing excursions too so the words are beginning to become more difficult!

Really nice. However, can I make a website suggestion.
If you are on this page http://www.casa-alfredino.co.uk/skiing-information/
And hover over the Activities-> winter and try to get to skiing the box is at such an angle that you can't. You can from other pages. Using Safari on MacOS

Look forwards to following the blog. My favourite ski area in the world.
Can I make a suggestion to? Mention Fortuna on the front page too. Maybe not one for the km or powder hunters but a stunning place to ski with a wonderful sense of history and fantastic food.

Ha yeah! Will add it but I need to reski it myself it's been a very long time since I was there, maybe 15 years. In the meantime I also have to do Tre Valli as that's somewhere I've not been at all yet, and Latemar, and Obereggen... and Passo Rolle and San Martino... and then I have to start writing about the ski touring! Too much to write about and too little time to do it all! Hopefully going to get a ski touring week organised with some buddies this year so will slam those in once I've got them under my belt. I just bought a new guide to the Pala di San Martino and San Lucano which has me inspired...

Good luck with it. I think Cortina is a selling poin
t for any Dolomite tour and probably on a lot of people's bucket list.
