What's the verdict, think I'll have to watch it again to make my mind up but wasn't as blown away as I was after watching art of Flight for the first time.

Only saw the second half but I enjoyed it. Not of the boarding persuasion but I'm keen on lingering shots of mountains, moody music and slow mo shots of powder.

Enjoyed it, especially the Alaska stuff. It never ceases to amaze me how when the heli drops them on a summit they make all the right decisions and choose the right lines, I guess that's called planning. The Japan Alps and Montana trees stuff was brilliant too.
One question - when the huge slab let go at the end and TR was caught out, why was he not wearing an avalanche sack? Maybe they think the heli is there but he could have been buried 2m deep instead he was lucky to surface.

I thought it was pretty good, seemed to have less of the 'Hollywood drama' faux tension that Art of Flight suffered from (imho). Yeah there was a lot of navel gazing but it's all about the journey, maaaan. The riding was incredible, as always.

it would have been much better if Travis Rice spent less time talking and verbally blowing himself it would have been much better. Out of the 3 films, Thats it! Thats All!, The Art of Flight and The Fourth Phase, this is by far the worst. self indulgent rubbish
|
