When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hey all

A friend is trying to ship a second hand pair of skis over to me in London from LA. Length is 192 and will be boxed up. He's got a couple of quotes at around $250 which is punchy.

Has anyone got a better idea? My girlfriend will probably be happy if I can't get them over 😜 She still doesn't know about a couple of pairs under the spare bed....

He's got a pair of really good condition bibby's that he is passing on as a favour very cheap. They are hard to get over here and would be worth it if I could get some cheaper shipping. Don't really need them but hard to pass up!
