Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

What will I do - Selva

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I e-mailed the 2 ski schools in Selva for private lessons for when I go at the end of Feb. One of them got back to me very quickly and the other didn't. Both were quoting the same price, so I decided to go with the one who got back quickest. Anyway, I e-mailed my requirements, etc. We were e-mailing back and forward (4 or 5 e-mails). I have now sent an e-mail just to confirm everything and that I will call into the office, as requested, to collect my tickets. Do I need to finalise everything again and/or should I phone them just to make sure. I am sure it is all booked as he has said so in his last e-mail (this was the one prior to the "confirmation" e-mail I sent).

As I said, he has said that everything is booked, I then e-mailed back to confirm everything, adding that I would call into the office the day before, do I really need to do anything else or am I just being paranoid?

This is important to me as I don't want to miss out on my lessons.

Thanks

Chill out...sounds like everything's fine to me. Continentals like to maintain an air of whimsy and disregard, when underneath they're about as organised as everyone else.

Print your e-mails out and take them with you if you're feeling nervous about it. But seriously, you'll have no issues.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I have booked some private lessons at another resort by email and when I asked if they wanted any payment in advance they just said
"call into office when you get to resort and pay then" this has happened in the past and I have never had a problem.

He didn't actually say "confirmed" in his last e-mail. He just said, he has already booked the lessons - so I will take it to be that its booked.
