Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

2006-7 ski gear: the 'big reveal' starts today

Today is the first day of the US trade fair SIA 06 in Las Vegas - the SnowSports Trade Show - at which 900 brands unveil ski and board hardware and software for next winter. The show runs until 26 January. [To be strictly accurate re. the headline, the French industry held its SIG trade fair in Grenoble last week]

This report from SkiPressWorld.

The even larger European show - Ispo - opens in Munich from 29 January to 1 February. Here's the ispo website.

The British snowsports trade show - Soltex - is at Manchester's G-Mex Centre from 19 to 22 February. Here are the Soltex details.

Any news, comment or photos from the trade shows welcome.
Anyone going?

P.S. Fox started a thread on 2006-7 skis, back on 12 Jan, if you want any previews:

Is it wrong? It surprised me when I saw it, because SIG always used to be after ispo.
When is SIG, then?

Muppett's done some further research:
http://www.alpexpo.com/rwp/popupManifestation/idman/153/pfrom/index.php
It seems the venue Alpexpo in Grenoble, which hosts SIG, has postponed the show - but there's no revised dates. And the SIG site continues to give the cancelled dates: 15-21 January!
Anyone know what's happening?
