Frosty the Snowman, it's johnboy ... only one evolutionary dribble in the gene pool from Scarpa. Anything involving latex is just part of daily routine.

I,ve also skied in -30F temps,(-34C) not recommended & to be honest rather stupid of me . I remember the lift attendant telling me to get inside somewhere quick as my ear lobes had gone white with the beginings of frostbite. When they thawed out the pain was intense.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

I skied at -35C in Lake Louise one year, it was -30C when we got off the plane in Calgary so we knew we were in for some pretty extreme conditions that year. A colleague went out a couple of weeks after us and he said it went even colder, -40C and below! But I'm not sure how much skiing he got in at that temperature. I usually go to LL in December/January and the average seems to be about -10C to -15C which is actually pretty good for skiing if you have the right gear. Certainly no late afternoon slush at those temperatures!
