Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

That would be, I guess, because it was emergency treatment as normally it is about 20%.

Yes, I realised it was when a sense of urgency replaced the jovial welcome, at the hospital local to Orelle, and they flew me to Grenoble. With a little less luck, well ......

I guess I ought to offer props to the AAC who's insurers' handling of the case was quite impeccable, much to the relief of my wife who had the onerous task of sorting it all out.

@BCjohnny, us wives do come in useful. Direct Travel who were our insurers at the time were fabulous in France dealing with the medical and repatriation side of things , it was only when we were back in the Uk and putting in the claim that they got a bit awkward. Fortunately I eventually got transcripts of the calls I had in France, and they paid out in full.

@Hells Bells, unfortunately you don't seem to get the option with ios, there was another app as well but it was ehic info only.
oh well, have to jettison the family in future if I cannot add them to the app (and not giving up my iPhone), I am not going back to the dark ages and having to show a physical card for anyone!!! Toofy Grin Toofy Grin

@terrygasson, you have to still carry a credit card. Just stick them one in each ski jacket.
Giving up my IPhone was a revelation. Can't say I've ever missed it.

@terrygasson, I used to stick insurance details for my kids in there too, just in case something happened at ski school and they needed emergancy treatment before they could contact us.
