Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

@Weathercam, I bought the Radicals for a similar price (£269) in snowtrax a few weeks ago. They weren't showing on their website, but a phonecall to them often helps, as their full stock isn't always listed:

One week later, the bindings have arrived. They are the model I ordered. Everything went super smooth.

Now I will look for some good backpack with ABS airbag, showel, beacon and rope...

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Only good if they have what you're after but I just bought some skis from Sail And Ski, ordered them last Thursday night and they turned up on Tuesday Smile

Heads up - Absolute snow is having a closing down sale - lots at 50% off.

Good news is this is a stock clearance as they're moving premises to Watford, excellent shop so highly recommended

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I live in UK (and Europe also wink)..... and tend to use Sportpursuit (UK based), Snowinn (Spanish) Sport Conrad, Exxposed, Boardershop, Sport Bittl, Bergzeit, Bergfreunde, Blue Tomato....all mostly German/ Austrian. Have also used Ekosport but have seen less than favourable reviews albeit no problems I recall.

Don't know much about Rossignol skis these days (used to have a pair of 4SV's many years ago), never looked for their kit but have seen their fat skis and they look good...... these shops may be able to provide/ otherwise I'd be googling Chamonix ski shops and emailing directly.

Im looking to buy some skis from Sport Bittl and get them delivered to the UK. Do you know what the import tax will be roughly? And do they package them properly, i don't want a damaged pair to arrive.

I’ve ordered from Sport Bittl before - they use a separate company to handle the import admin. The 19% German tax is taken off when you buy, then when the skis hit customs that company sends you an invoice for the amount needed - 20% VAT, ~2.8% import duty, and an ‘admin fee’ which in my case was £11.50.
