When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Best/cheapest ski hire Chamonix

Ill be in Chamonix last week of March. Looking to rent Skis/Boots for the week, Ideally near the Brevent lift/Savoy area. I keep seeing these on line offers (50% discount with intersport for example ) . Is that the way to go, or can i find better deals on arrival ?
Probably be skiing mainly Blues and Reds with possibly a couple of blacks at the end of the week. What /where would people recommend. Intersports mid range (intermediate to good red slopes. (rouge) offer is 83 euros 7days ski and boots. VÖLKL RTM 7.4 or SALOMON 24 POWER OR EQUIVALENT

Online probably as cheap as you get. New intersport at bottom of Brevent hill (in town centre) is very nice store and has lots of kit. Where are you actually staying?
