When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Kid friendly restaurants for lunch - Val D'Isere

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a restaurant for lunch in Val D'Isere that is kid friendly and even better one that serves a fondue. Strange request I know but my 6 year loves cheese and is desperate to try fondue.

Funny this as I was at the Fondue Factory for lunch today en famille for Mothers Day.... Fondues yes, kid friendly - there are better places but it was OK. Place that is VERY VERY kid friendly, as in has kids play area would be Sur La Montagne. Both FF and SLM are on the high street - on the mountain kid friendly - all much of a muchness although places that will do a Fondue at lunchtime is more limited! La Ferme is another option too!
