Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Sauze D'Oulx Blues

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi,

I'm going to be in Sauze D'Oulx from 12th to 19th March.

I'm going with 4 others who are all reds and blacks, whereas I can JUST get down a blue without killing myself, but it's NOT PRETTY! (I look like a stuffed chimp that's been nailed to a pair of skis and pushed off the top of a piste - really)

Anyway, I'll be doing lessons in the AM Sun/Mon/Tue after-which (the lessons) I'll be on my own until the other's get back from their adventures.

If you're in Sauze at the same time and you see what appears to be a bin-man (bad jacket and pants choice) crying into his hot chocolate, come and say hello.

(What all of that means is that I'll have no one to ski with between 1pm ish and the lifts closing Sun/Mon/Tue but I'm blue, though, hopefully 'beginner red' by the end.)

We're in Sauze at the same time. Whilst my husband and I are comfortable on anything we're with my Aunt who has only done one week on snow and only done blues, and our children who are comfortable on reds but still leaning.

They're all booked into lessons but from 1pm (when they come out of lesssons) we will all be taking it easy around the resort - well certainly earlier in the week.

You're welcome to join us on a couple of your afternoons, as long as you don't mind skiing with kids!

Did you book you're lesssons through a TO? My Aunts are booked through Inghams, you had 3 or 6 days as options, as you could end up in the same ski lessons?

P.s if you're enjoying the group lessons you can usually extend from 3 days to 6 days in resort for very little extra cost. May be an option if you'd otherwise be skiing on your own all morning.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Sauze will suit you fine, it's full stuffed chimps! Very Happy

The whole resort in none too challenging. Your pals may find it a bit tame.

@Bianchigray, yes, through Inghams, at the Gran Bosco Hotel.

I SAY am lessons, but I'm only guessing. I'm doing 3 red lessons because they wont touch you on blue lessons if you've even had one lesson (see website) and this'll be my third gi (it just hasn't clicked).

I have no issues whatsoever skiing with your aunt or anyone else.

@Mollerski, good news for me then. I think they'll be trying to do the whole milky way.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

We're in Hermitage Hotel. It has always been morning lessons when we have booked with TO. We got half price lift passes so booked lessons seperately - hence the 6 days not 3. I did see the red/blue packs though.

I'll PM you my mobile number, I wouldn't be surprised if you are in the same lessons as my Aunt.
