Poster: A snowHead
|
I would like to hire some decent free ride skis and it seems daft to walk half way across chamonix when my hotel (Mercure center) is 2 minute walk from a twinner and intersport. So my question is do Intersport and twinner likely to have skis such as Black crows Atris for example. Obviously ill get the Gold/freeride package.Does anyone have experience of these shops so then i can put my mind at rest. CHeers

@deeppow, hasn't the Mercure installed it's own shop?
Anyway I'm sure I/S or Sanglard will be fine. Although Concept Pro hardly further than Sanglard and better quality. All round.

Beware skiset shop in mecure Bossons are only open a short time in the morning and evening, shut in between. Although my brother told them his approximate time he wanted to collect (midday) they happily took his money for that day even though they weren't open. He did get a refund for that day but it's a bummer when you are only there for a long weekend.
