Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Well i can't comment but Ed leigh (ski sunday) says that all the main tricks (including the helicopter one) are real. And if you look at that bit, the blades arent turning particularly fast, possibly for safety reasons.

I can believe the helicopter was real too. I'm sure they tested the jump without the chopper there to make sure he could comfortably clear it. Most big gap jumps are over rocks and other nasty terrain you wouldn't want to hit anyway. Maybe it didn't have spinning blades though, those could have been edited in? But I don't think it was a particularly dangerous stunt by his standards!

CGI is really expensive. I think it's mainly a question of very clever/sneaky editing.

I don't know how expensive it is, but Candide's last video got over 19 million views just on his own youtube channel (numerous other channels also uploaded it with several 100k views too). With that sort of audience I'm sure sponsors like Quiksilver would be willing to shell out a fair bit...

I was talking to people about the bits on grass, and apparently you can slick the grass with water beforehands to make it easier to slide on.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

AFAIK bar the breaking window no CGI, just very staged of course, but nothing in there was particularly hard to do, just ballsy.

The on grass one only the landing in the car was fake, the rest was (relatively) easy.

Is it just me, or should this have been titled "Yet another one of those days". The first one was quite witty. This one is just more of the same.
