Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Atomic Edge SL vs Atomic Doubledeck 3.0 SL

Dear All,

I have recently got back from the skiing trip during which I had a pleasure of trying out Atomic Edge SL skis. I was really surprised how easy and on the edge this skis are and I decided to do a bit of research. During browsing of countless articles and reviews I stumbled at yet another model, DoubleDeck 3.0 SL, which is similar in fashion and style, but slightly more "rocker".

Now, I am confused slightly which one might be a better option for me. Here is a short description of my abilities and goals

1. I am an intermediate skier, 7/10
2. I ski on-piste, and prefer well-groomed tracks
3. I would like a fast, easily turning ski with a lot of grip
4. I would also like the ski to be maneuverable across moguls or on a patch of fresh snow
5. Ideally, the ski should be forgiving enough

What are your opinions on any of the two skis? Which one would you recommend?
