Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Austrian skis for 10 solid days to claim new world record

An Austrian skier has claimed a new world endurance record by skiing for 10 continuous days and nights at the little resort of St Georgen am Walde.

Josef Resnik achieved his 240-hour skiing record on the Schorschi piste, and the resort logged his progress on their website. Resnik has previously set records in triathlon and round-the-world cycling.

Josef Resnik gets going on 5 January ... to finish on 15 January

Good question. I understand this happened in the state of Upper Austria, but his underwear probably departed for Lower Austria.
