 Poster: A snowHead

As part of a Savoie Mont Blanc road trip (two days each in Châtel, Megève, La Clusaz/Grand Bornand, and Espace Diamant) last week, my wife and I had a great visit based in Crest-Voland with the best weather of the entire stay. Here's a report.
We thought that it was a very pleasant, varied region and would certainly go back. I had hoped to reach out and say hello to local celebrity Pam, but was sidetracked by a busy schedule.

I'm sorry to have missed you, but was back in the UK. Will be heading back to the Espace Diamant after the French school holidays have finished, as I don't do lift queues.

I hear you, Pam. Last Saturday, we drove back to GVA airport and watched thousands of holiday hackers driving south to ski country. Queuing for lifts, needing reservations for restaurants, etc. -- not without a gun to my head.
