Not sure I would use the word "planned" in my case. More of a last minute impulse "screw it, it's the weekend, and there's snow", and hurriedly throw everything in a bag.

Done 2 weeks in Chamonix, 1 week in La Plagne, and another weekend in Chamonix so far.
Still to come:
- 1 week at the SOPiB in Serre Chevalier
- 2 weeks in Whistler
- 4 day break in Chamonix
- 2 weeks in Val Thorens to end, including the EoSB
And I'll try to sneak in another short break in Cham once I get my passport back, and if flight prices allow...!

Had a week in Chamonix late Jan and currently in Colorado doing a "drive to a different resort everyday" style of trip. So far have skied Winter Park (where we stayed 2 nights) and are now in a condo in Frisco where loads of places are fairly easy to get to. Have done Loveland today - Keystone tomorrow; will go to A Basin, Copper Mountain, Breck, Vail and poss Beaver Creek over next 10 days
...how do you all afford so many trips and time off
Hokkaido is work.
Which gives me the money and time to play in Georgia and the Alps.
Brecon Beacons is petrol money

What work do you do, I need to switch jobs I think, can't see myself balloon twisting or design on a mountain. Although ballooning goes down anywhere.

I've done a week in La Tania/3V over Christmas and the MYAsH Bash to Livigno so far. Am booked in for the EoSB in VT at the end of the season, sadly can't afford (either money or time off) to have another trip.
Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Back to France (Espace Diamant) when the French school holiday crowds go home. Till the end of the season/snow (whichever comes first....).
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

1 week in Livigno over New Year. Literally the only week I could go this winter with work commitments.
Currently scheming for 16-17 in Hokkaido!
Had two weeks in Champoluc for Christmas/New Year. Currently in Nauders for a sneaky extra long weekend break for my wife's birthday. Next up is the Off-Piste Bash in Serre Chevalier. After that I've nothing booked but probably a late season week in Val Thorens. Followed by virtually no holidays until Christmas.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Les Gets tomorrow, then Gressoney until Friday with the possibility of a tour of Pila before coming home. There will be more but not quite decided when and where.
Serre chevalier in 4 weeks less one day - not counting of course and then la plagne on 1st April with the family and rising a sit ski with my eldest.

Just back from a week with the family in Les Menuires and off to Meribel in 2 weeks with friends. It would be nice to see a little more sunshine and experience a little less wind but we had lots fun in fresh snow pretty much every day, so can't complain. Great fun introducing the kids to side-piste this year and on-piste 'pillow snow' as our daughter called the mounds of pre-mogul powder that she loved falling over in!

@clarky999, that will be interesting - we're looking at the Skiers Haute Route not to be confused with the M25 version.
Even though I spend the season in Serre Chevalier I do get out and about on various road trips, sometimes a valley or two away as in a ski tour today in Nevache, or pop over the Lautaret to La Grave, or further afield sometimes hooking up with mates who are out on hols, did Trois Vallees a month or so back.
The obvious beauty / attraction of ski touring is that we just take ourselves off and discover new valleys and routes.
Have the SIGB ski test in Kuhtai next week so might tie that road trip in with somewhere in the Dolomites on the way back.
Then after the hols have finished and depending on snow conditions we'll go down to the Queyras where lift passes are reduced by 50% and the same pass you can ski up to eight resorts in a day, but usually we just do one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
I'm fortunate to be able to stay out for a season, but one mate certainly makes up by cramming in loads of amazing trips throughout the year utilising the Southern hemisphere as well. He probably ends up skiing more powder days than me who lives out in the mountains
