Poster: A snowHead

Hi, hoping for some opinions . .
We are going to Morzine on 20/2/16 . Aware that it's french half term.
We did have the 2 kids booked into ski school with English instructors, but alas they can't do the group lessons as not enough kids in group. They have offered us refund.
Now looking at ski schools, choice between the snow school and easy2ride. No other school can help.
Snow school promises small classes max 6. 2 hours. Start at mid station. Price 218 euro
Easy2 ride classes max 8. 2 1/2 hours. Start at plenney telecabin. Price 265 euro
Are they both about the same? Does one cater more for british kids? ( I imagine it will be mostly french kids).
Any ideas would be great as want to book ideally to,orrow!

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

You don't say how old they are, but I think for small kids, 2 hours without a break is plenty. And the smaller the class the better.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

We used easy 2 ride in Morzine for our son a few years back. I'm pretty sure they were mostly english childen (with maybe 1 or 2 french in the group) and our son really enjoyed it. It was UK half term though so might be different for your week.
We were staying at the hotel a the top of the plenney lift and after the first day they were happy to meet and drop off up there rather than us having to go down to the bottom every day.
On the whole we were very happy with them and would use them again.

I've booked in with the Snow School for our 4 year old when we go at the end of Feb.
So far the experience has been great, had loads of questions that they've answered just hoping the lessons are as good.
Would love to know how you get on if you go with the Snow School

have used easy 2ride for both our kids. that's 2 weeks per year over three years so have 'sampled' a lot of their instructors and can highly recommend them. great ski school. good balance between French and British kids.

Thanks, we have gone with Easy2ride. Had to make a decision and I think the extra 1/2 hour swung it for us.

@Hils68,
A group of my friends and I did a private lesson with E2R at the start of the year in Morzine. Our instructor was Flo. He was brilliant. We spotted him later that day doing a private lesson with a child and was so kind and patient so I asked E2R if Flo could instruct my son for our family trip 2 weeks ago. My 3 year old and his little friend did daily one hour private lessons with Flo (we thought full on ski school would be too much for the children at this age) and my boy was turning down the hill in control by day 3. Incredible. Flo was amazing with the children and Edwina and Sarah in the E2R office were so helpful. Such a nice company. Very reassuring as it was all a bit of an unknown trying to get a threenager to love skiing [/img]

When I had Easy2Ride lessons last month we met at the top of Pleney. They have a meeting board sign just below the top gondola station, in the same area all the other ski schools meet.
I can also recommend E2R, for Adult lessons anyway as we had a good 2 hour session with Julien. He helped my powder skiing a lot and got me away from my habit of trying to carve all the time.

So far we've been very impressed with the SnowSchool for our 4 year old. He's had 2 lessons and has progressed far more quickly than i would have imagined. There's a very simple approach to the lessons with an explanation and then they let the kids figure it out with a little bit of encouragement from the instructors. Our's has absolutely loved this approach as he loves figuring stuff out himself and is now merrily snowploughing
They're heading to the top of the Pleney tomorrow so this could be an interesting lesson

We did easy2ride and very pleased with them. Have to say though we did a 2 hour private lesson for kids with PDS academy and they were brilliant, got the younger one snowploughing and going down the blues within 2 hours. easy2 ride were good as small class sizes, a few english kids too and friendly instructors, especially Patrick?
