Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Dynastar Cham 97 - women's version

Has anyone here skied these before? I got a great deal in my local shop - €180 for brand new (old season though), perfect condition Cham 97 W with bindings, 172cm. Can't understand how they are so cheap

I've skied the mens version before, and loved them. They're like a slalom ski on piste and suited me in powder (ie. not particularly competent)

I bought them anyway, they're a lovely turquoise colour so if nothing else they look nice in my kitchen.

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

That sounds like a brilliant deal. I have ladies Cham 87s, which I love and bought for a similarly good price, but never tried the 97s.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@sj1608, just worried it's too good a deal! It's bucketing down snow where I am so will know tomorrow. Can't wait to get out on them

@moseyp, snap! Both OH and I bought matching pairs of his and hers, and pinched ourselves at the time as we couldn't believe the price, although ours had been demoed. We've seen grotty ex-rentals selling for far more than we paid for ours since. I guess it just means you'll get your money back if you decide you don't like them.

@sj1608, I LOVE them! Not as solid on piste as the men's version but I don't mind that, only want them for powder

Suspect it's because there is a new version out for this season.

@moseyp, that's great news. Mine haven't seen any use yet this season as we haven't been out when there's been powder..... Sad
